Amit Shah's homage to CRPF jawans killed in Pulwama attack, dinner with forces

Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to the 40 CRPF jawans killed in the 2019 terror attack in J&K's Pulwama. Accompanied by Lt Guv Manoj Sinha, Shah laid the wreath at a memorial in Lethpora. Amit Shah visited the CRPF camp in Lethpora & interacted with security personnel. The home minister, who was on a three-day tour from October 23-25, extended his visit & spent the night at the CRPF camp. Shah & Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also had dinner with the paramilitary forces. Earlier on Monday, Shah offered prayers at Kheer Bhawani Durga temple in Ganderbal. On Sunday, Shah visited forward areas at Makwal border & interacted with jawans, residents. Shah also met with delegations of Kashmiri Pandits, Gujjar-Bakarwal & Pahadi community, etc. On Saturday, Shah met the kin of the soldiers & civilians killed this month in terrorist attacks. This was Shah's first visit to Jammu & Kashmir since Article 370 abrogation on August 5, 2019. Shah's visit came in wake of a spate of attacks on civilians, non-local labourers & minorities.
