Fire erupts in Bhopal hospital’s paediatric critical care unit; 4 children dead

Four children died in a fire that broke out in Bhopal’s Kamla Nehru Hospital on Monday. The children were admitted to the paediatric critical care unit of the hospital. Govt officials said 12 fire engines were rushed to the hospital to control the fire. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, informed a police official. Officials suspect that a short circuit may have caused the devastating fire. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, condoled the deaths and ordered a high-level inquiry into the matter.
