How I&B Ministry’s Twitter account was hacked with Elon Musk's name; restored

The official Twitter handle of the ministry of Information and Broadcasting was compromised on Wednesday. The handle name was changed to Elon Musk temporarily, as the government worked to restore the account. “The account @Mib_india has been restored. This is for the information of all the followers,” the ministry tweeted after the account was compromised. HT reached out to the spokesperson of the ministry, the office of the minister Anurag Thakur and Twitter but did not receive a response immediately.
