A helicopter of the Indian Army's aviation corps crashed in Jammu & Kashmir's Kathua. The chopper with at least five people on board crashed near Ranjit Sagar Dam in Basohli. A senior police official said that there were no immediate reports of any casualty. Police informed that the dam is located about 30 km from Pathankot in Punjab. According to local residents, the chopper crashed into the dam at around 10:43 am. Kathua Police added that they have pressed into service divers & motorboats. Meanwhile, senior administration & police officers have also reached the mishap spot.
