Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma hit out at NCP supremo Sharad Pawar who condemned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s support for Israel following the October 7 Hamas attack. Pawar said that former Indian PMs always “stood firmly with Palestine”. In response, Assam CM Sarma predicted that Sharad Pawar would send his politician daughter Supriya Sule to Gaza to fight for Hamas.
