External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar held a bilateral meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang on the sidelines of the G20 foreign ministers' meeting in New Delhi on Thursday. Jaishankar described the current state of India-China relations as 'abnormal' and also said that the real issues need to be looked at and discussed. Qin Gang, who visited India for the first time after taking over as China's foreign minister, said that both nations should put the border problem in its 'appropriate' place and ease the situation to "normalised control."
