Rahul Gandhi on first J&K trip after Art 370 dilution; will meet Gupkar leaders

Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi has arrived in Srinagar on his maiden trip after the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019. Rahul was welcomed at Srinagar by party leaders and workers. Rahul, who is on a 2-day visit, will meet state congress leaders and workers during his stay. He will also inaugurate newly built Congress party headquarters in Srinagar and visit famous Hazratbal shrine and Shankar Acharya temple. Rahul Gandhi will also attend a dinner of Gupkar alliance leaders that is being hosted by J&K Congress chief Ghulam Ahmad Mir. Senior Congress leader and former J&K CM Ghulam Nabi Azad will also join Rahul Gandhi tomorrow in Srinagar. Rahul had attempted to visit Kashmir Valley after Article 370 purge in August 2019 but he was stopped from exiting Srinagar Airport and then sent back to Delhi along with various other opposition leaders.
