Union Home minister Amit Shah campaigned in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, and the neighbouring Union Territory of Puducherry on February 28. He trained his guns on the Congress-DMK alliance, accusing them of perpetuating dynasty politics and massive corruption. The BJP leader claimed that Narayansamy, who recently had to quit as Puducherry CM due to a string of defections, had diverted ₹15,000 crore government money 'in the service of the Gandhi family'.
