Armies of India and Pakistan exchanged sweets to mark the beginning of new year along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. The sweets were exchanged in Teetwal sector of Kashmir and Poonch sector of Jammu. Both sides greeted each other on the New Year occasion. A statement by Indian Army said that the sweets were presented as a goodwill gesture and to display India's willingness for peace and tranquillity at the border. Since last year, calm and peace have returned to Line of Control in J&K after India and Pakistan ratified 2003 ceasefire agreement. Watch this video for more.
