A shocking case has emerged from Guna district in Madhya Pradesh. A woman was made to walk for 3 kms with a teenager on her shoulder by her in-laws. The woman had reportedly separated from her husband with mutual consent and was living with another man for a month. The husband’s family members then allegedly abducted her and made her walk for 3 kms with a teenager on her shoulder as a way to humiliate her. Many people wielding sticks and cricket bats can be seen walking beside the woman jeering and even hitting her at times. Police have arrested three people after the video of the incident went viral.
