‘No moral right’: Britain wants Putin out of G20 amid War; Sunak echoes stand

British Foreign Ministry official has now said that Russia has no moral right to attend the G20 summit to be held in Bali, Indonesia in November this year. British-Indian MP and UK PM hopeful Rishi Sunak has also called on the G20 to bar Russian President Vladimir Putin from its meetings until Moscow halts the war in Ukraine. "Our G20 partners and allies have a collective responsibility to call Putin’s abhorrent behaviour out. Sitting round a table with him isn’t good enough when he is responsible for children being killed in their beds as they sleep," a spokesperson for former UK finance minister Sunak said.
