Pak economy in doldrums, Sharif Govt may reduce working days to save fuel

In a bid to lessen petrol & diesel consumption, the Pakistan govt may reduce the number of working days. Cash-strapped Pakistan's economy is in dire straits & the country is facing a balance of payment crisis. If ratified, the Pak govt will save an estimated $2.7BN in forex (fewer working days = lesser fuel consumed). A staggering 96% growth - Pak's total oil imports for the first 10 months of the fiscal year surged beyond $17BN.
