PM Modi, CM Vijay Ride Chennai Metro on New Corridor’s Inaugural Day

PM Narendra Modi and Tamil Nadu CM C. Joseph Vijay flagged off Chennai Metro Phase II’s new Poonamallee–Vadapalani stretch and took a ride from Porur Bypass to Poonamallee Bypass. The 15-km corridor, built at around ₹4,900 crore, has 11 elevated stations and is expected to improve connectivity between Chennai’s western suburbs and the city centre.
