Putin-Modi nuclear bonhomie peaks; Russia’s new fuel solutions for India’s atomic reactors

Russia has offered new technologies and solutions for nuclear fuel cycle of India’s atomic power plants aimed at enhancing efficiency of the reactors at the Kudankulam power project. The new technologies offer the potential to make the power plant’s operations more efficient and cost-effective over several decades. Moscow has continued to supply crucial components for the power plant project despite uncertainties created by the conflict in Ukraine.
