Kyiv "has spent big bucks" to hire these foreign mercenaries for "paid patriotism." Russia’s Investigative Committee Chairman, Alexander Bastrykin, claims that Ukraine, in connivance with the West, is flouting international norms. Scandalous claims against Ukraine come at a time when the NATO nation of Poland recently boasted about volunteer fighters for Ukraine.
