Graphic novelist Orijit Sen on the mission and future of comic books in India

Graphic novelist Orijit Sen released his debut work, River of Stories, in 1994. Based on the struggles of the Narmada Bachao Andolan protestors, it was one of the first non-fiction comics in India. A special 25th-anniversary edition is now being released by Blaft Publications. In this video, Sen talks about the great change the comic book scene in India has undergone since those lonely early days.
