Anand advocates chess in Olympics

World chess champion Viswanathan Anand on Sunday advocated including chess in Olympics in order to improve the game to a higher level. Anand said that steps should be taken to include Chess as a demonstration sport in four years time and as a full-fledged medal sport in eight years in Olympics. Anand recently defended his world title by defeating Russian Vladimir Kramnik in a match-play series in Bonn, Germany.
