Kumble, Jayawardene foresee close series

The captains of the Indian and Sri Lankan team on Tuesday predicted a closely contested Test series starting in Colombo on July 23. Anil Kumble rated Sri Lanka as tough opponents and said batting was his team's main strength. Sri Lanka's captain Mahela Jayawardene also said that his team was looking forward to the series. Both captains also batted for the Test cricket despite the recent trend of shorter format matches.
