PV Sindhu meets PM Modi after her historic win at BWF World Championships

Shuttler PV Sindhu met Prime Minister Narendra Modi after her historic win at the BWF World Championships 2019. Calling her India's pride, PM Modi wished her the very best for her future endeavours. World's no. 5 shuttler Sindhu won her first gold in Switzerland's Basel. She defeated her familiar foe Nozomi Okuhara of Japan to win her first gold. Earlier in the day, Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju met Sindhu and presented a cheque of Rs 10 lakh to her.
