‘25% of athletes are women’: Sachin Tendulkar flags off New Delhi Marathon

Sachin Tendulkar flagged off the 5th edition of New Delhi Marathon. The marathon started from Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Thousands participated in the marathon. Speaking at the event, “This edition of marathon has been a huge success. We have 20,000 athletes participating. The pleasing thing about today's marathon is 25% participation of women athletes, which clearly shows the awareness. There were 85 specially-abled athletes.”
