Top Olympus executive found dead

A top executive of Japan's scandal-ridden Olympus Corp, Tsutomu Omori, has been found dead in a park in Gurgaon. According to newspaper reports, Omori (49) who was head of Olympus's medical equipment business in India, was found hanging from a boundary wall by a gardener in the park on Monday. After discovering the body, the gardener immediately informed the security guards at the upscale residential complex. The police soon arrived with other Olympus employees, who recovered two suicide notes written in Japanese. However, the police said there was no suggestion of a link to the Olympus scandal.
