Garbine Muguruza lifts maiden title at Cincinnati Open

Spaniard Garbine Muguruza defeated Simona Halep of Romania 6-1, 6-0 to win her first ever title at Cincinnati Open. In the process, she also denied Halep the world no. 1 ranking.
