United Kingdom has dispatched warplanes to protect Ukraine’s grain ships over the Black Sea as the future of a UN-backed deal which provided safe passage to the grain shipments remains uncertain. “RAF aircraft are conducting flights over the area to deter Russia from carrying out illegal strikes against civilian vessels transporting grain,” the UK government said in a statement, reported a Russian news outlet RT. Russia earlier said that any vessel coming to Ukrainian ports will be treated as potentially military cargo.
