Ukraine provokes, Russia drops drones? After 40 years, Chernobyl nuclear shield severely 'damaged'

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has warned that Chernobyl’s protective shield can no longer fully perform its core function after suffering severe damage during a February attack. According to inspections cited by Reuters, the massive steel confinement structure protecting Reactor No. 4 was compromised, degrading its ability to contain radioactive material nearly four decades after the 1986 disaster.
