U.S. Vs Houthis | Biden Seeks Arch-Rival China’s Help To Stop Red Sea Attacks By Iran-Backed Group

United States has reportedly urged China to use its influence on Iran to stop Houthis attacks in the Red Sea. The Financial Times reported that Washington in the past three months made several appeals to Beijing but there’s “little evidence” to suggest that China put any pressure on Iran on the Houthi group backed by Tehran. Houthis continue to attack trade shipping in the Red Sea despite the U.S.-led counterstrikes on the Iran-backed group in Yemen.
