10 killed, 21 injured in Lahore blast

At least ten people were killed and 21 injured after an explosion rocked a market in Pakistan's Lahore on Thursday. Panic gripped the area after a loud explosion was heard across Y-Block in DHA Lahore, reports Geo News. Media reports quoted police sources as saying that a timed device with 10 kg of explosives was used in the attack. Security forces cordoned off the Defence Housing Authority area after the explosion, which occurred in an under-construction building.
