Ex-IRGC chief warns Trump & Netanyahu could ignite World War III amid tensions

A former IRGC chief warned that Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu could ignite World War III if the international community fails to stop them, as tensions between Iran and the United States reach new highs. Mohsen Rezaei compared the two leaders to Hitler and Genghis Khan, accusing them of unprecedented crimes and pushing the world toward a global catastrophe. Another senior Iranian figure, Mohammad-Javad Larijani, threatened that any U.S. strike would bring massive American casualties and attacks on the “roots” of U.S. interests across the Middle East. The warnings follow indirect U.S.–Iran talks in Oman and a major U.S. naval buildup, including deployment of the USS Abraham Lincoln.
