Alleged rioters have attacked yet another church in violence-hit France. Saint-Georges De La Haye-Descartes Church was set on fire in France's Descartes. Firefighters were immediately rushed to the spot and managed to control the blaze. However, the roof and the bell tower were completely gutted in the fire. This is the second church to be "attacked" in France in the last three days. On July 8, a sixteenth-century church was burned to ashes in Drosnay. French President Emmanuel Macron has banned the sale of fireworks, fearing renewed violence ahead of Bastille Day.
