France Using Russian Money For Ukraine War Aid: Macron Risks Direct NATO Involvement? | Putin

The French defence ministry announced on September 6 that it would use frozen Russian assets to finance military aid for Ukraine. The French Defence Ministry, in a statement, said, "The European Commission has agreed with the French Directorate General of Armaments to use these funds to quickly procure priority munitions, artillery, and air defence equipment for Ukraine from the French industry worth 300 million euros [$332 million] by 2024."
