Israel goes all out and pounds Gaza after Hamas threatens to kill hostages. The Israeli defence force said its aerial bombardment of the Gaza Strip is one of the largest it has conducted on the besieged territory. Israeli forces pounded Hamas military offices in the ferocious attacks. Hamas senior operative's operational apartment was also destroyed. Israel also bombed mosques and high rises used by Hamas to carry out attacks. The Israeli PM has taken a pledge to punish Hamas in a way that generations will remember. Benjamin Netanyahu said we didn't start the war but would finish it.
