Kim Jong Un dares again; North Korea fires 2nd ballistic missile in a week

North Korea fired a ‘suspected ballistic missile’ on Tuesday for the second time in less than a week. The militaries of South Korea and Japan confirmed the North's second weapons launch of 2022. Japan's PM Fumio Kishida said it is extremely regrettable that North Korea continues to launch missiles. The launch came as the UNSC met to discuss last week's test of what Pyongyang called a hypersonic missile. Ahead of the UNSC meet, the US and its allies urged North Korea to cease "destabilising actions".
