Niki Lauda, three-time Formula One champion, dies at 70

Former Formula One driver and three-time champion Niki Lauda died on Monday. His family said in a statement that Niki passed away peacefully. The F1 legend had won F1 titles in 1975, 1977 and 1984. Niki also survived a crash in German Grand Prix in 1976. Niki was appointed as Mercedes' non-executive chairman in 2012 and was among the ones to add Lewis Hamilton to the team.
