Putin brings 50% Donetsk under control, Russian artillery batters Ukraine

Russia-installed official in Donetsk has claimed that 50% of the region is now under Moscow's control. This as Russia continued to batter east and south Ukraine with artillery, missiles and drones. A MiG 31 fighter jet was alerted after Norwegian Orion surveillance aircraft entered Russian airspace. Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that a lull in Russian attacks indicates that President Vladimir Putin was preparing for a fresh wave of attacks.
