Russia unleashes major aerial attack on southern Ukraine overnight. Ukraine's defence forces said that Russia fired 19 Iranian-made Shahed (Kamikaze) drones, two Onyx hypersonic missiles, and 12 Kalibr cruise missiles at Odesa. The Ukrainian air force said the Kalibrs were launched from a ship and a submarine. Ukraine claims to have destroyed all 19 Shaheds and 11 Kalibrs, yet their debris hit residential homes and buildings in the port city causing a fire. Meanwhile at the battlefield, Russia claims to have wiped out nearly 600 Ukrainian soldiers, repelled seven attacks and obliterated ammunition depots in a single day.
