A firm in Dubai has developed three-storey floating homes complete with fish tank-style underwater rooms. The three floors include - the main floor at sea-level, an upper deck, and a lower level completely submerged in water. The project is called 'The Floating Seahorse' named after the Persian Gulf's endangered species. The structures are essentially boats without propulsion and will be built using composite material weighing 200+ tons. The initial prototype was made from steel and it took less than a year to build.
