Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces commander Robert “Madyar” Brovdi says the country could dramatically increase its strikes against Russian military targets in Crimea if Western funding reaches Ukraine faster. In an interview with The Associated Press, Brovdi said his forces are operating at roughly 14% of their potential capacity, while recent attacks have targeted Russian air defenses, rail links, fuel infrastructure and other military assets. He argues the campaign aims to prevent Crimea from functioning as a staging ground for Russian forces. Brovdi also warned of growing Russian drone and missile capabilities and Ukraine’s shortage of Patriot interceptors for ballistic missile threats.
