Watch: Bloody Friday in Afghanistan as blast hits Shia mosque; several killed

Scores of people were killed and injured after a Shia mosque was hit by a deadly blast in Kandahar city of Afghanistan. Taliban officials said the blast occurred during Friday prayers and is believed to have been carried out by a suicide attacker with suspected links to Islamic State Khorasan Province. Footage from the mosque showed bodies lying on the floor and injured being taken to the hospital. Last Friday, the ISIS carried out a similar attack in Kunduz, killing more than 100 Shia worshippers.
