Despite the absence of Pakistan, the one-day international conference on Afghanistan at Bonn in Germany, has been hailed a success. Briefing mediapersons at Bonn on Monday, Germany's foreign minister Guido Westerwelle said that participant nations had had come up with constructive strategies for the betterment of Afghanistan. His Afghan counterpart, Zalmai Rassoul, said that the Afghanistan government is committed to give good governance to its people.
