Attack on Bhutto's convoy

At least 135 people were killed and more than 500 injured when two bombs exploded on Friday in an attack targeting a vehicle carrying former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto through Karachi on her return from eight years in exile. In a statement issued through state media, Musharraf appealed for calm and said he condemned the attack in the "strongest possible terms."
