Diplomats defend Indian priests in Pashupatinath temple

Indian diplomat and Nepali leaders have come out in full support of the Indian priests who resumed their religious rituals on Saturday at the Pashupatinath temple in Kathmandu. Indian Ambassador to Nepal Rakesh Sood, who went to the temple to meet the priests said it was an unfortunate incident. Dr Minendra Rijal, Nepalese Minister for Culture, apologised to the newly appointed priests for the attacks and humiliation they faced.
