India, Russia agree to further ties

Indian President Pratibha Patil, who is on a five-day to Russia, held talks with her Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev in Kremlin on Thursday. Both the leaders pledged to enhance bilateral ties spanning from energy to trade issues. A variety of issues were taken up for discussions ranging from nuclear cooperation to enhancing trade between the two countries.
