Musharraf seeks closer ties with China

Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf said in Beijing on Monday that he favoured closer energy ties with China and hoped bilateral talks with India would resolve the long-standing Kashmir issue. Earlier, supporting China on the Olympics issue, Musharraf condemned attempts from the West to undermine the event through a boycott.
