Pakistan repatriates 134 Indian prisoners

Pakistan formally handed over 134 Indian prisoners to Indian authorities at the Wagah border post in Punjab on Monday, ahead of the two nations' Independence anniversaries on August 14 and 15. The repatriated prisoners include two women and 28 children, 100 of them fishermen. Many of those arrested are held for years, often without a trial, before being released.
