Watch | Dogs that surf

A dog trainer and former surf champion is teaching dogs and their owners how to surf. Interestingly, the dogs seem to thoroughly enjoy their water sport. The former surf champion has trained his dogs, which were rescued from shelters, to surf with him on his stand up paddleboard. Chris spends his days travelling the coast teaching other dog owners and rescue pets the art of hanging ten. Chris has been surfing with dogs for the past ten years and says it's a way to build a healthy relationship.
