Watch | Suicide bomb attack near Kabul airport, 1 killed

One Afghan civilian was killed and several others were wounded after a suicide car bomb exploded near Kabul's airport on Monday morning. Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed responsibility for the attack, and said the target of the suicide bomber was a convoy of foreign forces. In a brief statement, NATO said it was investigating the incident. The attack comes a day after Pakistan's powerful army chief General Raheel Sharif visited Kabul in a bid to prepare the ground for fresh peace talks with the Taliban.
