A few customers in the United States have complained a talking McDonald's Happy Meal toy sounds like it uses curse words. A toy acquired by The Associated Press made a sound that could be interpreted as an obscene phrase commonly abbreviated as "WTF." The toy is one of many inspired by the movie 'Minions' that McDonald's began giving to its Happy Meal customers on July 3. The fast-food company has said the sounds the small yellow figures make are nonsense words and nothing offensive or profane.
