A Russian Su-30 fighter jet crashed in Crimea on Friday during a routine training mission, according to reports by state news agency TASS, cited by Reuters.

The incident raised concerns about the cause of the crash, and authorities confirmed no weapons were onboard. (AFP)

The aircraft was not carrying any weapons at the time, and the situation did not pose a threat to people on the ground.
