Jayme Leagh Franklin, one of Donald Trump's prominent associates, has been compelled to address speculation after observers suggested she "zapped" the President awake during a press conference.
On Monday, August 10, Trump addressed the media while signing an executive order aimed at decreasing the number of universally recommended vaccines. However, during the press conference, he appeared to close his eyes for extended intervals, prompting concerns that he might be dozing off.
As he seemed to drift into slumber, Franklin who was standing to his right tapped her abdomen, causing Trump to startle awake. This incident led numerous conspiracy theorists to speculate that she was activating a button that "zapped" him awake.

In response to the discussion on social media, Franklin, a mother, political commentator, and former official in the Trump's White House, has finally spoken out.
Franklin, present at the briefing to advocate for conservative parents who endorse parental rights, medical freedom, and modifications to the childhood vaccination schedule, clarified the reason behind her action of tapping her stomach.

"I'm just pregnant, you weirdos," she told skeptics on X, with crying face and laughing face emojis.

Jayme Leagh Franklin: All we know about her husband and daughter
Upon completing her studies at the famously left-leaning UC Berkeley in 2020, Jayme established The Conservateur to advocate for and represent conservative women. Her prior professional experience within the conservative movement encompasses roles in the United States Senate, the Trump Campaign, the Trump White House, and Fox News.
Currently, Jayme resides in Washington, DC, with her husband, Drake Franklin, and their daughter, Vivienne. The couple got married in 2021.
Franklin held the position of director of correspondence during the first Trump administration, following her tenure as coalitions coordinator for the Trump 2020 campaign. In 2019, she interned in the U.S. Senate as a legislative intern. Franklin graduated from UC Berkeley in 2020, after founding The Conservateur in November 2019.
Who is Drake Franklin?
Drake Franklin hails from Gainesville, Georgia, and currently holds the position of Southeastern Development Director & Policy Analyst for American Values at AFPI. He was the Executive Director of Evangelicals for Trump during the Trump-Pence 2020 presidential campaign, as per AFPI.
In this capacity, he oversaw 62 key advisory board members and maintained numerous relationships with national surrogates. Additionally, he collaborated closely with both national and state-level GOP campaign staff to execute various initiatives, which included a focused voter contact program and a strong digital presence, while also managing and conducting over eighty in-person and online events nationwide.
Previously, Franklin interned at the White House in the Presidential Correspondence Office, where he supported the writing team by researching, drafting, and sending proclamations, greetings, and letters on behalf of the president, AFPI reported.
