The posts, with dramatic captions, claimed that the YTB Fatt was shot while filming a music video at his grandmother's home in West Memphis, Arkansas. Some posts claimed that Fatt was injured, while others went to the extent of claiming that he was killed in the shooting.
However, those claims have now been debunked as a viral hoax. YTB Fatt was not shot, Ht.com can confirm. There are no reports of the shooting involving the rapper in Arkansas.

According to a viral video circulating on social media, YTB Fatt's brother, rapper Pimp K can be seen discussing the incident amid the viral rumor. Ht.com could not independently verify the video's authenticity.
In the video, YTB's brother Pimp K purportedly claims YTB Fatt was not shot in West Memphis. But he seemed to suggest that a shooting indeed took place at the West Memphis residence when the rapper and his team were shooting a music video. Additionally, it states that YTB Fatt's sister was injured in the shooting.

However, the details surrounding the incident- if it indeed happened- are limited. As of now, the rapper or his representatives have not released a statement on the rumor.
YTB Fatt's most recent public appearance was a live performance at Superstarz in Charlotte, North Carolina on February 28, 2026. He was actively touring earlier, including shows on his "New Year New Problems Tour" announced in early 2025.
