Video of TV anchor reading news as camera trembles during earthquake goes viral
The video of Mashriq TV presenter continuing his news piece as the camera trembled during Tuesday's earthquake is viral.
The video of a newscaster of Pakistan's Mashriq TV breaking the news of the earthquake as the camera and the other television screens of the newsroom shake has gone viral earning praise for the news anchor. In the viral video, another person from the newsroom can be seen leaving his seat. "A local Pashto TV channel Mahshriq TV during the earthquake. Brave of the anchor to keep his calm. Many social media users commended the bravery and the composure shown by the anchor on the live television.

The epicentre of Tuesday's late-night earthquake was in Afghanistan but the tremors were felt across Pakistan and as far as India. In Pakistan, earthquake tremors were felt in Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Quetta, Peshawar, Kohat, Lakki Marwat, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, Kot Momin, Madh Ranjha, Chakwal, Kohat and Gilgit-Baltistan areas.
At least nine people including five men, two women and two children were killed in Pakistan. Two persons - a man in Islamabad and a 13-year-old girl in Abbottabad - lost their lives due to sudden cardiac arrest after the quake. A stampede was reported in Rawalpindi during the earthquake.
The earthquake originated at a depth of 180 kilometres which is why the tremors were felt far and wide.
